• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent with five years of programming and analysis experience and three to five years experience working with a technical specialty in one or more areas of systems applications.
|
|
Fully knowledgeable of all processes involved in systems analysis and programming. Demonstrated technical proficiency in the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems gained through exposure to all aspects of programming and analysis.
|
|
Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills, and the ability to work with confidential documents.
|
|
• Demonstrated aptitude towards problem identification, resolution and comprehension and interpretation of technical procedures.
|
|

Responsibilities: |
|
• Acts as the expert in business or functional area.
|
|
• Formulates/defines scope and objectives.
|
|
• Participates in meetings with business users to define business systems requirements and to resolve problems in existing jobs.
|
|
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
|
|
• Prepares detailed system specifications from which programs will be written.
|
|
• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
|
|
• Performs feasibility studies to analyze cost/benefit trade-off of systems solutions.
|
|
• Initiates systems design specifications, and prepares flow charts, block diagrams and report layouts using current design techniques or functional program specifications.
|
|
• May be responsible for quality assurance review and user satisfaction.
|
|
• May have duties directing and checking the work of other applications systems analysis and programming personnel.
|
