Position Summary:
Business Analyst, in an insurance position with demonstrated technical expertise in several lines of insurance. Requires comprehensive knowledge of insurance processing systems and technical. Knowledge of performance analysis, methods and procedures. implementation of large and/or complex technical projects,. Identifies, evaluates, and implements operational changes to improve information and processing systems. Develops technical training programs and conducts user training. Develops system procedures, guidelines and technical documentation of new systems. To ensure compliance to specifications, and cost-effectiveness. Knowledge of performance analysis, methods and procedures, as well as familiarity with re-engineering techniques. Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and project planning skills. Past experience with COBOL, VSAM, DB2 and large financial software applications is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• As a Business System Analyst, the person will be expected to perform as technical expertise acts as a liaison between the Business Unit and the Systems group to facilitate the identification of process improvements, system design, testing and implementation of large and/or complex technical projects, often requiring coordination of multiple functional areas. Identifies, evaluates, and implements operational changes to improve information and processing systems. Analyzes and defines user requirements and translate them into system requirements to ensure understanding of the request by all project members
• Demonstrated expertise in gathering, analyzing, documenting and managing business requirements with multiple business partners
• Partnering with the application development teams to design the solution
• Demonstrated expertise/knowledge on test, train and implement complex application enhancements/new
Development efforts on projects.
• Deliver quality solutions to our business partners while ensuring that it will deliver the expected result.
• Has an understanding of the deliverables, costs and criticalities of the initiative
