MINIMUM: GRADUATE, LLB
Skill & Compentancies:
Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of Contracts, Insurance Laws, IRDA Regulations, and Labor and employment laws should have independently handled drafting and negotiation of contracts.
Business Understanding: Candidates with prior work experience with the Legal Department of a Life Insurance Company preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and Negotiation of agreements with Vendors and Service Providers, preparation of Agreements templates including those with Insurance Intermediaries and Referral Agencies.
Provide support to Customer Services Department on complaints/queries; provide legal opinions to various functions.
Assist and advise in Product documentation.
Handle litigation /notices-statutory and others.
